Friendly Experience

Dark and loud traditional tattoo shops are not my vibe. Women First is a light and bright space that is relaxing to be tattooed in.

Consultations

Each person deserves to have their tattoos tailored to them. If you would like a customised design I offer free consultations where we can work through your ideas.

Private Studio

No need to worry about other people watching you get tattooed, Women First is a private studio. During your visit you will be one-on-one with me and have my full attention.

Professional Artist

As well as tattooing, I am a professional artist. My fine art focuses on anatomy and the connection between mind and body. My work has been in many gallery shows and even won some awards. All the artwork inside the studio is my own.

Neurodivergent

I understand being tattooed can have extra barriers for neurodivergent people who may have sensitivities and feel nervous in new spaces. Please let me know ahead of time if there is anything you need I will do my best to make you comfortable during your tattoo.

LGBTQ+ Friendly

While Women First is primarily female-focused, the queer community is certainly welcome in my space. My goal is to create a safe experience for any person who feels traditional tattoo settings are not made for them.

Why Women First?

I always felt uncomfortable in dark, loud, macho tattoo shops. This is why I created Women First Tattoo Studio. My private studio is a friendly space where feminine art is celebrated and our bodies are respected. I believe the tattoos women get should be joyful commemorations of body ownership. They should be as artful, beautiful, and unique as we are.

About The Studio

Women First Tattoo Studio is located in Stevenage, UK. There is parking right in front of the studio and it is wheelchair accessible. There is a comfortable seating area for you to sit while you are being tattooed, and for you to take breaks if needed. Please let me know if you need any accommodations for your appointment, I’m happy to help.

Health And Safety

Women First Tattoo Studio and I are both fully licensed for tattooing by Stevenage Borough Council. I only use single use needles and tattoo supplies on each client. The only thing reused is my tattoo machine, which is covered while tattooing, as well as sanitised before and after the tattoo. The tattoo bed and all surfaces are sanitised after each client.
